And it is me who tells it to you — the author of this article who visited Uganda on a two week tour Исправлено: with a two week tour. First of all it is important to understand that travel to Africa has some risks but you have to understand that this travel will completely change your inner world. All representations of reality may collapse once you leave your plane. Even the air will be different. The world of the peculiar flavors will inform you about the arrival in some other world.

Это говорю вам я – автор статьи, который побывал в двух недельном туре по Уганде. Надо понимать, что с поездкой в Африку связаны определенные риски, но следует подумать и о том, что эта поездка может перевернуть ваш мир с ног на голову. Все представления об окружающей действительности исчезнут в тот момент, когда вы станете в полный рост на трапе самолета. Даже воздух окажется другим. Совершенно незнакомый мир ароматов оповестит вас о прибытии в другой мир.

As my personal experience shows it is possible to miss a lion who is sleeping just near the road.

Buildings are rather primitive. People spend most of the time outdoors. The locals look at you with curiosity. You are an attraction for Исправлено: are attraction for them. Местное население смотрит на вас с любопытством. Для них вы что-то вроде аттракциона. Детишки бегут следом за машиной, машут руками, крича: «Смотри, белый человек!». Женщины носят свой груз на голове, фигуры тонки, волосы подстрижены очень коротко, все как одна одеты в длинные цветастые платья. Мужчины заняты каким-либо делом. Для передвижения они используют велосипеды или мопеды. Дороги, а точнее бездорожье, пустые. В Уганде люди приветливые, радушные. Они тебе улыбаются, а ты улыбаешься не менее искренне им в ответ.
After one visit to Africa you will be looking forward to coming back again. You will want to explore other African countries, to touch the hands of African boys and girls. But I have to admit that after two weeks of our tour there comes a moment when you feel that you miss your habitual and such understandable world.
Побывав там один раз, захочется вернуться еще. Открыть для себя другие страны Африки, снова подержать за руку африканских мальчишек и девчонок. Но надо признаться, что после двух недель уже немного начинает хотеться в свой привычный и такой понятный мир.
And in conclusion I have one more piece of advice. What to do if you meet face to face with a lion. One popular guide book says that you mustn’t run because the lion will identify you as its prey. In such a case the end of the story is known to you. What to do then? You should be calm and reserved to attack the lion shouting. The lion is supposed to be at a loss and run away... This advice was not used in a real life.
И в заключение, еще один совет. Что же делать, если все-таки встретил льва. Как советует один популярный путеводитель, ни в коем случае нельзя бежать. Лев решит, что вы его добыча. В этом случае легко догадаться, каким будет исход встречи. Что же надо делать? Следует собрать в кулак всю свою волю и бросится с криками на льва. Лев должен растеряться и убежать… Совет на практике не проверялся.
